‘Your house, your rules’

When working with interior design naturally I’m preoccupied with creating beautiful and functional rooms. But in my opinion there is not just one aesthetically ‘correct’ way of decorating.

The most beautiful rooms are unique and personal. The beauty does not only come from the selected colours, objects or pieces of furniture but originates in the combinations that are rare and different in each home. Bold and personal, not streamlined choices allow people to sense how the place is being used, and by whom.

Upcycling & Re-design

For me Up-cycling & Re-designing is a completely logical starting point for most of my solutions.
Cabinets made of removable windows, antique butchers hooks turned into combined kitchen hangers and lamps, flower boxes used as racks, table tops made of bathroom tiles…
When you combine old and new it often underlines the beauty of both – and it just makes great environmental and financial sense too.
